Model
Platform connecting patients to EU-licensed physicians. Dropped its in-house pharmacy model in 2018; prescriptions are filled by independent EU pharmacies or routed via BlueClinic, a UK intermediary that is explicitly not a pharmacy. On the Dutch registry, Prime Pharmacy B.V.'s listed website is dokteronline.com.
Pricing
Ozempic listed at €249.95 with free delivery on the Lithuanian site, a clear convenience premium over the local pharmacy cash price of about €108.
Funding
Founded 2003 as Onlinedokter.com, rebranded 2004, repurchased by two original founders in 2010. Around 20 staff in Curaçao.
Regulatory history
The Raad van State upheld €114,000 of Dutch fines on 30 June 2021 (ECLI:NL:RVS:2021:1421 and 1422), €12,000 for missing the mandatory EU distance-seller logo and €102,000 for dispensing prescription medicines without a registered pharmacist and prohibited advertising. The court rejected the "we are a neutral intermediary like Booking.com" defence and established that Dutch medicine-law fines reach a foreign-based entity targeting Dutch consumers.
