Yazen

researchedfull dossier

The only operator in this atlas that never touches the drug, and the only one that runs eight countries out of a single Swedish company under Swedish law.

Yazen Health AB, Bolagsverket 559315-6234, formed 27 April 2021, seat Lund, offices Anckargripsgatan 3, Malmö. One Swedish company is the counterparty to every patient in all eight markets.

Model

A subscription clinic, not a pharmacy and not a fulfilment business. Yazen sells a care programme and writes prescriptions into the ordinary national pharmacy channel, so the patient buys the medicine separately from an independent pharmacy. Structured programme with coaching, dietitians, connected scales and a real first-party app. The clinical gate comes before the payment gate, which is the reverse of Zava and DoktorABC.

Pricing

Germany €149 the first month then €199, advertised as a Festpreis including treatment and medicines, which is below the €206.80 German list price of Mounjaro 2.5 mg alone. Switzerland from CHF 129 a month with the CHF 220 assessment struck to zero and a free blood test. Binding periods of 1, 6 or 12 months, billed monthly in advance by Stripe or in a lump sum by Klarna, plus a prescription policy committing the patient to four weeks per pen dispensed.

Funding

SEK 37m seed in August 2023 led by Luminar Ventures. SEK 224m Series A announced 4 November 2024, co-led by Evli Growth Partners and Helsana HealthInvest, the venture arm of the Swiss health insurer, with Almaz Capital, Yabeo, Luminar and Aggregate Media. SEK 72m credit facility from HSBC Innovation Banking, 11 February 2026. No disclosed valuation.

Scale

FY2024 filed turnover SEK 176.2m with a loss after net financials of SEK 42.1m and 68 average employees. FY2025 company-stated at nearly SEK 330m revenue, SEK 185m gross profit, EBITDA minus SEK 64m, ARR SEK 372m, over 37,000 active patients. Marketing spend of over SEK 200m exceeded gross profit.

Regulatory history

Läkemedelsverket imposed an immediate ban on 6 December 2024 on advertising prescription weight-loss medicines to the public, specifically adverts referring to GLP-1 analogues, carrying a SEK 750,000 conditional fine for each breach. Appealed to förvaltningsrätten, outcome not found. IVO opened supervision in January 2024 and criticised Yazen in February 2025 over identity verification, absent suitability assessment, click-counted dosing, reused needles and deficient record keeping, closing the case on 13 June 2025 after 3D body modelling and connected scales were introduced.

In 2026

Switzerland went live around January 2026 with no Swiss entity in Zefix, no named Swiss clinician, no named Swiss pharmacy, an imprint that points at the German site and cites the EU online dispute platform, and a privacy policy naming Swedish BankID and the Swedish state address register as recipients of Swiss patient data.

What this dossier changes

Yazen is the only operator in this atlas that never touches the drug, never captures money before a doctor decides, and runs eight countries out of one Swedish company. It is also the only one that has been ordered to stop advertising GLP-1s on pain of a SEK 750,000 fine per breach, and it currently names the molecules freely in seven of its eight markets while suppressing exactly one page in the market where it was caught.

Licences

Who actually holds the pharmacy registration, the clinical registration and the prescribers. This is the block that most often contradicts a company's own description of itself.

IVO (Sweden)Yazen Health ABRegistered vårdgivare, inferred rather than read

The vårdgivarregister could not be rendered. IVO nonetheless conducted a full verksamhetstillsyn, issued a decision and closed the case, which is only possible against a registered provider. We do not claim a register lookup we could not perform.

Pharmacy licence, any marketYazenNone, and none claimed

The terms say it plainly: prescription medicines are not sold by Yazen and are not included in the service fees, they are dispensed and sold separately by independent pharmacies under a separate purchase contract between the patient and the pharmacy. This is the structural difference from every other operator in the atlas.

Prescriber registrationany Yazen clinicianNo numbers published in any market

The Swedish experts page names roughly twenty individuals with credentials in prose but no legitimation numbers. The Swiss team page names no individuals at all and one paragraph of it is still in untranslated English.

Cantonal Betriebsbewilligung and Berufsausübungsbewilligung (Switzerland)YazenNone found, and no Swiss entity exists to hold one

Switzerland is neither EU nor EEA, so the freedom-to-provide-services argument that makes the single-entity model coherent for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Spain does not carry across. The practice of medicine and the dispensing of prescription medicines are cantonally licensed.

Swiss VersandhandelsbewilligungunknownNo Swiss pharmacy named

All 34 Swiss FAQ pages plus the terms, imprint, privacy policy and pricing page were downloaded and searched. The only references are to "eine führende Online-Apotheke" and "unseren Apothekenpartnern". A prescription written by a Swedish doctor with no Swiss authorisation is not ordinarily dispensable by a Swiss pharmacy.

03

Money

A well-funded paid-acquisition business with a clinical service attached

SEK 37m seed in August 2023 led by Luminar Ventures. SEK 224m Series A announced 4 November 2024, co-led by Evli Growth Partners of Finland and Helsana HealthInvest of Switzerland, with Almaz Capital, Yabeo, Luminar and Aggregate Media. A SEK 72m HSBC Innovation Banking credit facility on 11 February 2026, which is consistent with the CEO’s own February 2025 guidance that the Series A gave two years of runway. No valuation has ever been disclosed.

Helsana is the name that explains Switzerland

Helsana HealthInvest is the corporate venture arm of one of Switzerland’s largest health insurers. A Swiss health insurer co-leading the Series A of a Swedish obesity teleclinic, followed by a Swiss consumer launch fourteen months later, is a better explanation of Yazen’s Switzerland strategy than anything on Yazen’s own website.

The filed numbers, which are public in Sweden in a way they are not in the UK

FY2024 nettoomsättning SEK 176.2m, EBITDA minus SEK 37.3m, loss after net financials SEK 42.1m, equity SEK 66.3m, 68 average employees. A separate figure of SEK 198.5m is total operating revenue including about SEK 22.3m of other operating income, and the composition of that has not been established. Equity moved from SEK 22.4m to SEK 66.3m while the year’s loss was SEK 42.1m, implying roughly SEK 85.9m of new equity in 2024, so only about 38 per cent of the Series A appears to have hit the 2024 balance sheet.

FY2025 is company-stated only, and marketing exceeds gross profit

Revenue nearly SEK 330m, gross profit SEK 185m at a 56 per cent margin, EBITDA minus SEK 64m, ARR SEK 372m at year end, over 37,000 active patients, over 53,000 treated since inception, 290 people at 180 full-time equivalents. Marketing and media spend was reported at over SEK 200m, but that figure does not survive arithmetic: gross profit of EUR 16.5m against EBITDA of minus EUR 5.7m leaves total operating expenses of EUR 22.2m, so SEK 200m of marketing would leave only EUR 4.3m for roughly a hundred staff. The SEK 200m appears to be a forward commitment reported in the future tense. Reconstructed actual marketing is EUR 13m to 15m, or 79 to 91 per cent of gross profit. The qualitative point stands and the specific claim does not. The FY2025 statutory accounts were not filed as at 25 August 2026, verified against the register rather than assumed, so none of this is audited. The unit economics work only if retention holds, and Yazen’s own claim is that 70 per cent remain after twelve months.

The Swedish self-pay pool is twice Yazen’s whole revenue

TLV refused Wegovy reimbursement in February 2026 on subventionsglidning risk across roughly 1.6 million eligible Swedes, after tripartite talks failed. The decision discloses roughly SEK 675m of Wegovy prescribed outside the förmån in 2025. Novo’s paediatric re-application was dismissed on 2 July 2026 and the adult appeal is pending. Sweden is therefore a confirmed pure self-pay market, and the pool is about double Yazen’s entire company revenue.

05

Positioning

The actual words. Paraphrase loses the evidence.

The naming policy, which is a third answer nobody else in the atlas gives
Zero occurrences of Wegovy, Mounjaro, Ozempic, Saxenda, Rybelsus, semaglutid, tirzepatid or liraglutid on every homepage, pricing page, FAQ hub, product, BMI, team and terms page, in all eight markets.

Against 893 occurrences of Ozempic in Swedish editorial. Yazen names nothing where it sells and everything where it publishes. No "buy Mounjaro" page exists anywhere in 2,870 URLs. Juniper suppresses everywhere, Zava and DoktorABC name everywhere, and Yazen splits the estate architecturally.

The one page that gives the policy away
/info/mounjaro exists in all eight markets. In Sweden it carries meta robots noindex and is absent from the sitemap, the only noindex in a 455-page crawl. In the other seven it is sitemap-listed, indexable, names Mounjaro 25 times, names the pharmacy and carries a conversion call to action.

This is the finding. Yazen knows exactly how to suppress a page and does so only in the market where it was fined. It also means the Swedish suppression is a compliance response, not a philosophy.

The German disclaimer, which exists in no other market
Diese Informationen stellen keine Werbung für verschreibungspflichtige Arzneimittel dar.

This information does not constitute advertising for prescription-only medicines.

The German price promise, which contradicts the German terms on the same page
Festpreis inkl. Behandlung & Medikamenten

Fixed price including treatment and medicines

The footer of the same page and the German FAQ both say Yazen "verkauft, stellt bereit, gibt aus oder liefert keine Arzneimittel", that it neither sells, provides, dispenses nor delivers medicines. A fixed price including medicines, offered by a company that says it does not sell medicines, at €149 when the medicine alone lists at €206.80.

What the terms actually say about price advertising

Any price examples, packaged offers, estimated monthly costs or marketing material referring to medicines are provided for information purposes only and do not constitute: a sale of medicines by Yazen, a guarantee that medicine will be prescribed, or a guarantee as to the price or availability of the medicine.

The small print directly underneath, which contradicts it

Yazen is not involved in the sale, delivery or dispensing of medicines. Where medicines are prescribed they are sold and supplied by an independent pharmacy, which is responsible for pricing and delivery in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Where Yazen displays bundled prices, this is to make the treatment process simpler and more transparent for patients.

Read against the headline on the same page. One says medicines are included in the monthly fixed price. The other says Yazen is not involved in selling them and the pharmacy sets the price. That is not a supply arrangement we failed to find, it is a claim the page itself withdraws in smaller type.

The Swiss reimbursement FAQ, which is byte-identical to the German one and materially wrong

The most common modern weight-loss medicines are currently only covered by medicine reimbursement if the patient has type 2 diabetes. In all other cases the patient must bear the entire cost themselves.

True of Germany, where GLP-1s are excluded as Lifestyle-Arzneimittel under SGB V section 34. Not true of Switzerland, where Wegovy and Mounjaro are on the Spezialitätenliste with a Limitatio for obesity and basic insurance is paying at scale. Yazen is telling Swiss prospects to self-pay when a material share could get cover. That is a lever for an entrant.

06

Naming and gating

Prescription-only medicines cannot be advertised to the public anywhere in Europe. So how does this competitor refer to the drug, and what stands between a visitor and the brand name?

The clinical gate comes before the payment gate, and this is the only operator in the atlas where that is true

Verified across all eight markets. The Connect assessment phase is struck through to zero, literally 220 CHF to 0 CHF in Switzerland, the blood test is free, and no money is taken before a doctor reviews. Zava Germany and DoktorABC both capture the full amount first and refund if declined. If an entrant wants to make the claim "you only pay if approved" truthfully, this is the operator that shows it can be done.

But the back end is harder than anyone else’s

Once through the gate, Change is billed a month in advance by Stripe, or six or twelve months up front by Klarna, on binding periods of one, six or twelve months. On top of that sits a Rezeptpolitik that commits the patient to four weeks per pen every time a prescription is written, which is not in the terms. In the Netherlands the separate pharmacy subscription cannot be paused at all and early termination requires the pharmacy’s prior approval, assessed case by case.

The naming architecture, stated precisely

Commercial surfaces name nothing. Editorial surfaces name everything. That split is deliberate, it is consistent across all eight markets, and it produces a genuinely different regulatory posture from both Juniper and Zava. Whether it survives contact with a regulator is a separate question, since Läkemedelsverket’s ban was specifically about adverts referring to GLP-1 analogues and Yazen still runs forty drug-named Swedish URLs, fourteen of them modified in August 2026, twenty months after the ban.

Identity and clinical verification were rebuilt after a regulator forced it

IVO opened supervision in January 2024 and found in February 2025 that Yazen had not ensured the requirements of good and safe care were met, criticising photo-based identity verification, absent suitability assessment, dosing decided by counting clicks, reused needles and deficient record keeping. The case was closed on 13 June 2025 after Yazen introduced 3D body modelling and connected scales. That is now a genuine differentiator, but it was built under supervision rather than by choice, which is worth knowing before treating it as evidence of clinical culture.

07

Funnel

Every screen from landing to checkout. Three gates are marked: where price is first revealed, where payment is taken, and where the clinical assessment sits. The order of those three is the commercial model.

  1. Public marketing page

No drug named anywhere on any commercial surface, in any of the eight markets

  2. BMI calculator

    captures: height and weight

  3. Connect: medical assessment

Switzerland shows 220 CHF struck through to 0 CHF, Kostenlose Beratung

    captures: clinical questionnaire

Free in all eight markets today. This is the phase Zava and DoktorABC charge for before anyone reads it.

  4. Blood testclinical gate

    Gratis Bluttest, Wert 119 CHF

    captures: laboratory results

Free, and no competitor in the atlas requires one at all.

  5. 3D body modelling and connected scaleidentity gate

captures: measured rather than self-reported body data

Introduced after the IVO criticism of photo-based identity verification. The strongest clinical control in the atlas.

  6. Doctor reviews and decidesclinical gate

This happens before any money is taken. The reverse of every other operator researched.

  7. Change: subscription startspayment gate

    Ab 129 CHF/Monat, 0 to 12 or 24 months

Stripe monthly in advance, or Klarna for six or twelve months in a lump sum. Binding periods of one, six or twelve months.

  8. Prescription issued into the national pharmacy channel

Yazen never touches the drug. The patient buys it separately from an independent pharmacy, in Sweden any pharmacy they choose. The Netherlands is the exception, with a named pharmacy and a second contract.

  9. Rezeptpolitik

Four weeks committed per pen dispensed, applied every time a prescription is written, and not disclosed in the terms.

08

Pricing

The subscription, by market

MarketAssessmentProgrammeBinding
GermanyFree, struck through€149 month 1, then €1991, 6 or 12 months
SwitzerlandCHF 220 struck to CHF 0, plus a free CHF 119 blood testFrom CHF 129 a month0 to 12 or 24 months

Yazen never touches the drug price and says so in its terms. The patient buys the medicine separately from a pharmacy. The German page nonetheless advertises a Festpreis including medicines, which contradicts the footer on the same page.

Germany, all five providers, first month of Mounjaro 2.5 mg

ProviderWhat the patient paysWho takes the margin
Shop Apotheke (Redcare)€206.80The pharmacy, at the regulated list price, no fee
DocMorris€204.30 after a €2.50 bonusThe pharmacy, below list price
Yazen€149 month one, €199 ongoing, advertised as including medicinesUnclear, and below the list price of the drug alone
Zava€240.79A flat €33.99 fee on top of list price
DoktorABC€284.80€29.00 hidden in the drug line plus a €49 fee

Yazen advertises a monthly number below what the medicine alone costs at either listed pharmacy, while its own terms say it does not sell medicines and gives no guarantee as to their price. Either the arithmetic works through a supply route not disclosed on the site, or the promise is not one Yazen can keep. This is the single most important unresolved question in this dossier.

09

Surface

Domains from certificate transparency, not guesswork. Staged markets and internal tooling show up here first.

The Swiss property is the German property with the URLs changed

The Swiss terms tell the Swiss user they also govern yazen.com/de. The Swiss imprint cites the EU online dispute resolution platform, which has no application to a Swiss consumer, and refers to the German site. The Swiss privacy policy is written under the GDPR rather than the Swiss FADP and names Swedish BankID and the Swedish state population address register as recipients of Swiss patients’ personal data, and gives a Lund address different from the Malmö one used everywhere else. Thirteen of twenty-two shared FAQ pages are byte-identical to the German ones. Switzerland is also missing from Yazen’s own JSON-LD areaServed.

Yazen’s own investor communications could not decide whether Switzerland exists

The company boilerplate said seven countries without Switzerland on 11 and 24 February 2026, then eight countries with Switzerland on 18 March and 13 May, then reverted to seven on 27 May. The doctor count silently fell from 130 to 120 in the same sentence. Meanwhile the Internet Archive shows the Swiss site live by 22 January 2026. Read least charitably, Yazen was selling a CHF-priced obesity subscription to Swiss residents while its own investor communications did not count Switzerland as a market. Either way, Switzerland is Yazen’s youngest and thinnest market, not an established top-three position, and our atlas should stop treating it as one.

A live experiments dashboard is public with no authentication

app.yazen.com/experiments leaks 24 live A/B tests with per-variant conversion counts. Sweden converts at 4.7 to 7.0 per cent, Spain at 0.03 per cent, and Germany at zero. That is competitive intelligence Yazen is giving away, and it says the German market is not working for them at all despite the aggressive price.

The cleanest consent posture in the atlas, and a robots.txt that barely exists

No Meta Pixel, no consent-mode default-granted, and the funnel host loads only EU-hosted Amplitude plus Google Fonts. Set against DoktorABC, whose funnel defaults all six Google consent categories to granted and fires the Meta Pixel pre-consent, this is the standard to copy. The robots.txt is 42 bytes with no User-agent line and zero AI crawler directives, which is the same omission every operator in this atlas has made.

The only real retention product in the atlas

A genuine first-party app with connected scales and 3D body modelling, against Zava and DoktorABC which have no app on either platform. Combined with dietitians, coaches and psychologists, this is the one operator whose claim to be a clinic rather than a fulfilment funnel has product behind it.

But the register says it is a paid-acquisition business

FY2024 filed average employees of 68 against a company claim of 80 employed doctors plus 35 coaches. By February 2026, 290 people but only 180 full-time equivalents. No group entity holds the doctors: Services AB has zero staff, Medstart has one, and Norge AS is registered as a web portal. FY2025 marketing was reconstructed at 79 to 91 per cent of gross profit, against a profitability line that sits at roughly 60 per cent. The widely repeated claim that marketing exceeded gross profit does not survive arithmetic and has been corrected. The clinical layer is genuinely well credentialled, with a CMO who was a hospital head of department and consultant endocrinologist, but it is a contractor workforce on a paid-acquisition business.

10

Reputation

Read the one-star reviews properly. They describe the operational model from the outside.

Clean, and unusually so

Trustpilot 4.5 on 3,993 reviews with a one-star rate of 2.75 per cent, which is the best in the atlas after Zava Germany. One global profile, and crucially no duplicate profile. Zava, DoktorABC and others each carry a second near-empty profile that misreports them by two full stars, and Yazen does not. The site’s own JSON-LD understates its review count at a hardcoded 3,000, which is an error in the conservative direction and therefore not a concern.

The scale claims are consistent with the filings, which is not true of everyone

Over 53,000 patients treated since inception and over 37,000 active at the end of 2025, against SEK 330m of company-stated revenue. Those numbers reconcile at roughly SEK 9,000 per active patient per year, which is consistent with the published subscription prices. Contrast DoktorABC, whose 49,833-review Trustpilot reputation contains zero GLP-1 mentions and is actually a medical cannabis reputation.

The page that gives the naming policy away, verified directly today. The Swiss version carries no robots meta tag at all, so it is indexed by default, with the H1 "Mounjaro 15mg". The Swedish version of the identical page carries meta robots noindex. Yazen suppresses this page in exactly one market, the one where Läkemedelsverket fined it. Note also the title tag, which reads "Wegovy 2,4 mg" on a page about Mounjaro, in a jurisdiction that bans public advertising of prescription-only medicines.

Exposure

Rulings, investigations and open matters, dated. Then: what is still live on the site that the ruling was about.

2024-12-06Läkemedelsverket (Sweden)Immediate ban on advertising prescription weight-loss medicines to the public, with a SEK 750,000 conditional fine for every breach. Appealed to förvaltningsrätten, outcome not found.

The ban is specifically directed at adverts referring to GLP-1 analogues. This is the only monetary enforcement instrument aimed at a GLP-1 operator anywhere in this atlas, and it is per-breach rather than a one-off. Note what happened next: Yazen suppressed exactly one page in Sweden, /info/mounjaro, giving it a noindex and removing it from the sitemap, while leaving forty other drug-named Swedish URLs live, fourteen of them modified in August 2026. Whether that satisfies the ban is untested.

2025-02 to 2025-06-13IVO (Sweden)Formal criticism, then case closed after remediation.

IVO found Yazen had not ensured that the requirements of good and safe care were met, criticising identity verification by photograph, absence of a suitability assessment, dosing decided by counting clicks, reused needles and deficient record keeping. Closed on 13 June 2025 after Yazen introduced 3D body modelling and connected scales. The remediation is now the strongest clinical control in the atlas, which is a useful lesson: the regulator specified the product improvement.

2023-09-12Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed (Denmark)Reactive inspection of Medstart ApS. Sanction: none.

Recorded for completeness.

None foundSwitzerland, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Spain, Norway, and every data protection authorityNothing.

Searched exhaustively for Swissmedic action, cantonal action, Swiss court cases, German Abmahnungen, Apothekerkammer action, Wettbewerbszentrale and Verband Sozialer Wettbewerb matters, and data protection proceedings in every market. Nothing found. The Swiss market is roughly six months old, so an absence of enforcement there is what you would expect and is not evidence of compliance.

Live and untestedArticle 32 HMG (Switzerland)Thirty-three Swiss-locale URLs naming prescription-only brands, ungated, against a regulator that has been enforcing unusually hard.

Switzerland bans public advertising of prescription-only medicines. Swissmedic has gone as far as ordering media outlets to stop publishing about Ozempic and Wegovy, which the Swiss media-law press covered under headlines about writing bans for the purpose of health protection. Against that backdrop Yazen publishes thirty-three Swiss URLs naming Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Saxenda and Rybelsus. Its Swiss Ozempic article carries no healthcare-professional gate and describes the legal position as applying "innerhalb der EU und des EWR", a framing that excludes Switzerland entirely.

Live and untestedCantonal health authorities (Switzerland)A consumer medical service with no entity, no licence, no named clinician and no named pharmacy in the jurisdiction.

The single-entity, home-state-supervision model is coherent under EU and EEA freedom-to-provide-services doctrine for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Spain. It is not coherent for Switzerland. The drafting defects, a Swiss imprint that refers to the German site, an EU dispute platform cited to a Swiss consumer, and Swiss patient data routed through Swedish state registers, are exactly what a complainant or a cantonal Gesundheitsdirektion reads as evidence that the operator has not actually localised.

Read-across

What a new entrant should copy, and what it should avoid.

Copy this

  • Put the clinical gate before the payment gate. Yazen proves it can be done at scale in eight markets, and it is the only operator in this atlas that does it. It makes "you only pay if approved" a true claim, which DoktorABC currently makes falsely and which is the strongest available claim in the category.
  • Give the assessment away and give the blood test away. Yazen struck a CHF 220 assessment to zero and bundles a CHF 119 blood test free. It removes the objection at the top of the funnel and buys a genuine clinical dataset that nobody else in the category has.
  • Measure the body rather than asking about it. 3D modelling and a connected scale answer the exact criticism regulators have made of self-declared BMI in Sweden, of photo-based checks in Sweden, and of self-reported height and weight in Germany. It is the strongest clinical control in the atlas and it is now a defensible product difference.
  • Do not touch the drug. Yazen sells a programme and writes into the ordinary national pharmacy channel, which removes the pharmacy licence question, the cross-border dispensing question and most of the price-advertising question in one move. It is the cleanest structure in this atlas by a distance.
  • Split the estate architecturally. Name nothing on commercial surfaces, publish freely in editorial. It is a coherent third answer to the naming question and it lets you hold search intent without putting a price and a buy button next to a brand name.
  • Build the app. Yazen is the only operator here with a genuine first-party retention product, and in a category where the entire economics depend on month-twelve retention that is the difference between a business and a customer acquisition treadmill.
  • Keep the consent posture clean. No Meta Pixel, no consent-mode default-granted, EU-hosted analytics only. It costs nothing and it removes the single most exposed item on DoktorABC’s estate.

Avoid this

  • Do not enter Switzerland on an EU freedom-to-provide-services theory. Switzerland is neither EU nor EEA, the practice of medicine and the dispensing of prescription medicines are cantonally licensed, and article 32 HMG bans public advertising of prescription-only medicines against a regulator that has ordered media outlets to stop writing about Ozempic. Yazen entered with no entity, no licence, no clinician and no pharmacy, and has not yet been tested.
  • Do not ship a localised market as a search-and-replace of another one. Yazen’s Swiss terms govern the German website, its Swiss imprint cites an EU dispute platform, its Swiss privacy policy routes Swiss data through Swedish state registers, and its Swiss reimbursement FAQ is factually wrong because it was copied from Germany. Every one of those is free evidence for a complainant that no localisation was done.
  • Do not advertise a fixed price that includes medicines you do not sell. Yazen’s German page promises a Festpreis including medicines at €149 while the footer of the same page says it neither sells nor supplies medicines, and while the medicine alone lists at €206.80. That is a §5 UWG shape whichever way the arithmetic resolves.
  • Do not assume a suppression response satisfies a regulator. Yazen was ordered to stop advertising GLP-1s on pain of SEK 750,000 per breach and responded by noindexing one page while leaving forty drug-named Swedish URLs live and editing fourteen of them twenty months later. If that is tested and fails, the fine is per breach.
  • Do not leave an experiments dashboard public. Yazen’s is unauthenticated and leaks 24 live tests with per-variant conversion counts, which tells a competitor exactly which markets work and which do not.
  • Do not stack binding periods on top of an undisclosed prescription policy. One, six or twelve month commitments, Klarna lump sums, a Dutch pharmacy subscription that cannot be paused and needs approval to end, and a four-week commitment per pen that is not in the terms. That is a consumer-contract complaint waiting to be made in six jurisdictions at once.
  • Do not tell patients they must self-pay without checking the local list. Yazen’s Swiss FAQ says patients bear the whole cost when Wegovy and Mounjaro are on the Swiss Spezialitätenliste with a Limitatio and basic insurance is paying at scale. A competitor that walks Swiss patients through Kostengutsprache takes those patients.

Open on this company

  • Partly closed on 25 August 2026. The German page’s own small print resolves the arithmetic: the 149 EUR is not a fixed price including the drug at all. Yazen states it is not involved in the sale, supply or dispensing of medicines, that an independent pharmacy sells them and is responsible for pricing, and that where Yazen displays bundled prices this is to make the treatment process simpler and more transparent by showing expected monthly costs. So the headline says medicines are included in the fixed price and the footnote says the price is somebody else’s to set. What remains open is which pharmacy, at what price, and whether the resulting total ever lands near 149 EUR.
  • Which pharmacy dispenses for Switzerland, and under what authority? Yazen names only "eine führende Online-Apotheke" across all 34 Swiss FAQ pages. Closable by running the Swiss funnel to the disclosure step.
  • Was the Läkemedelsverket ban upheld on appeal to förvaltningsrätten? Not findable. Closable by requesting the decision and any judgment from the Swedish registrators, which is a routine request under offentlighetsprincipen.
  • Is Yazen registered in the IVO vårdgivarregister, and who is the registered verksamhetschef? The register could not be rendered from this environment. Closable by emailing registrator@ivo.se for the extract for 559315-6234.
  • What makes up the roughly SEK 22.3m gap between nettoomsättning of SEK 176.2m and total operating revenue of SEK 198.5m in FY2024? Closable by buying the årsredovisning from Bolagsverket, which also carries the auditor’s report and any going-concern language, neither of which has been read.
  • What is the KvK number and regulatory status of Nationale Apotheek, the only pharmacy Yazen names anywhere? Closable in minutes against the Dutch KvK and the CIBG registers.
  • Why does the Swiss and Swedish /info/mounjaro page carry a title tag reading "Wegovy 2,4 mg"? Verified live on both locales. A page about Mounjaro whose title names a different prescription-only medicine is a small defect with a large surface in a jurisdiction that bans public POM advertising.
